2023 Tributes & Triumphs Award Winners

Stewardship is at the heart of CCF’s mission to the Ada, Cascade and Forest Hills community and is revealed in the foundation’s drive to answer the call for individuals and families. In the same way, CCF’s Board of Directors recognizes David & Karen Custer & the Custer Family who exemplifies this characteristic through the Trailblazer Award, honoring a lifetime of dedication to our community with a philanthropic spirit.

Collaboration fuels community, and represents CCF’s most coveted purpose. Together with local businesses, families, government and nonprofits, the foundation is best able to guide, solve, and improve - because the hands ofnmany make light work. This same spirit is exemplified by Lucas Howard Group honored with the Corporate Kindness Award; chosen for their tenacity in addressing needs and working in collaboration to make an impact.

CCF upholds a strong belief that having compassion for our local neighborhoods and small businesses is a service to all. This philosophy is demonstrated within the heart of volunteers who give of their personal time and energy in service to others. CCF is proud to present the Volunteer of the Year Award to Shelley Irwin.

CCF demands quality - not only in programming and services offered to the community - but from the organizations awarded through the Joyce & Thomas Wisner Fund. From addiction and mental health awareness to meal delivery and programming for nonprofits, grant recipients are called upon to fill urgent gaps in the lives of our local residents. With this in mind CCF’s Board of Directors is proud to present the Nonprofit of The Year Award to Brody's Be Cafe who has demonstrated exemplary service to the community throughout the year.

To raise your hand when others would not, together with a willingness to lend your voice when others remained silent takes courage. In this spirit CCF proudly presents the Overcomer Award to Jaime Counterman who has demonstrated courage toward raising awareness.
